
Project Situation
- At the end of 2021, due to the drought in Ningbo, Zhejiang, compounded by the peak heating season, the desalination water production capacity of the Beilun Power Plant was unable to ensure the normal operation of heating and power units.
- The Beilun Power Plant required the contracting unit to provide two sets of 2400 m³/d desalinated water within 25 days.
- During the Spring Festival holiday, when industry partners were reluctant to take on the task, Yingpu Environment once again demonstrated the "Huoshenshan" and "Leishenshan" speed. The staff worked tirelessly on site for 23 days and nights without rest, achieving the smooth operation of the water production unit and creating an impressive achievement.
- This unit was the largest emergency desalination water production unit in China at that time. The China Electric Power News published an article on the construction of the project, praising it as "making every second count, meticulously constructed, and perfectly fulfilled the contract."
Unit Details
- This emergency water supply unit utilizes a "ultrafiltration + two-stage reverse osmosis + EDI" full membrane water production process. The first stage reverse osmosis membrane uses high-flux wide-flow-path special reverse osmosis membrane elements to increase the cross-flow rate during operation, reducing the fouling rate of the first stage reverse osmosis membrane; the second stage reverse osmosis membrane employs high-flux high-rejection rate reverse osmosis membrane elements, allowing the unit to balance the quality and quantity of the water produced within a limited space. The EDI provides high-quality water with stable operation, has broad incoming water quality requirements, and is easy to maintain, achieving maintenance without equipment shutdown. The entire unit is designed with a "full membrane method," achieving the highest water production volume and water quality with the smallest footprint.
- The desalination station equipment is in a skid-mounted form, and the treatment process of this desalination station adopts ultrafiltration + two-stage reverse osmosis treatment + EDI technology. The water production capacity is 2×100 tons per hour, and the final product water is delivered to the existing desalination water tank.
- Centralized control operations are carried out uniformly in the PLC cabinet, with control implemented by the PLC. Pump interlocking and backup, as well as automatic flushing of equipment, are all achieved by the PLC.
